Belgian Abbey Dubbel by Flying Fish Brewing Co.

Mitch - " You know, um, something strange happened to me this morning..."
Chris Knight - "Was it a dream where you see yourself standing in sort of sun-god robes on a pyramid with a thousand naked women screaming and throwing little pickles at you?"
Mitch - "No..."
Chris Knight - "Why am I the only one who has that dream"

If you don't know the quote, please do yourself a favor and look up and watch Real Genius. Possibly Val Kilmer's best role. It truly is up there with Ice Man from Top Gun. In my opinion, he was better in Real Genius then Top Gun.

Unfortunately for me, I am not watching Real Genius tonight. I have been being the good husband. I have been watching Pretty Little Liars for the past couple of hours. Now we are watching the latest episode of Chicago PD. Burgess got shot last episode. I hope she pulls through.

Belgian Abbey Dubbel - Flying Fish Brewing Co.

ABV: 7.20%

Look: 3.5
Smell: 3
Taste: 3.75
Feel: 3.5
Overall: 3.5

Belgian Abbey Dubbel is dark brown in color. When poured into my glass it had a small amount of white head that dissipated quickly. There was a yeasty smell to the beer. The taste of the beer was semi-dry with medium carbonation. This beer had a semi spicy dry finish. This beer satisfied my taste buds on this cold evening in Michigan. Can you believe its single digits, and don't get me started on this ridiculous wind chill. I don't have much experience with Dubbels. I feel like I have been missing a lot in my beer world. After tasting the Abbey Dubbel by Flying Fish I will be making a conscious decision to find more Dubbels at my local craft beer store.

This was yet another amazing selection made by the wonderful people over at Craft Beer Club. I am almost done with the first months delivery. Just in time for the second box to arrive. I can't wait to see what they have selected this time around.
