Hopfish IPA by Flying Fish Brewing Co.

The New York Knicks suck!

This isn't a shocking statement, anyone who knows basketball will agree with me. I am not a Knick's fan by any stretch of the imagination, I am a general basketball fan though. The Knicks  are not fun to watch, yet they are always on national TV. I hate that an awful team from a big market, like the Knicks, gets more TV time then a possible contender from a small market, the Portland Trailbalzers.

I am die hard Trailblazer fan. I was born in Portland and will only recognize the Trailblazers as my team. I have lived in Metro Detroit now for around 4 and half years, I go to Pistons games, but never to watch the Pistons. But to get back on track.

The New York Knicks suck! I like to think my friend Shain, a big Knicks fan, would agree with me. I wish the NBA would realize that there are more entertaining teams in the league like the Raptors, Wizards, Pelicans, and Bucks just to name a few.

Now that I bash the NBA for their poor programming decisions, I see that the late game on NBA on TNT tonight is my beloved Trailblazers. The Trailblazers  are playing against the Miami Heat. Give me a second to take my foot out of my mouth.

I have big feet.

Alright, now that its out, I am back to watching NBA on TNT. Lets drink some beer.

Hopfish IPA - Flying Fish Brewing Co.

ABV: 6.20%

Look: 3
Smell: 3.25
Taste: 4
Feel: 4
Overall: 3.5

The Hopfish IPA gives you everything that an English IPA is supposed to deliver. Though I couldn't see the color of the beer due to my mug, it does have a solid 1 and 1/2 inch head. The head eventually dissipated but left a good creamy lacing around the mug. The IPA has a good floral hoppy smell. This would be an excellent beer to have on a warm summer day, or on a bitter cold winter day. It is a very good tasting beer, the floral notes come through with the taste. It has a smooth finish with little carbonation.

This is the final beer from my Craft Beer Club delivery. I can't wait for January's delivery to arrive.
